Position: Solution Architect - Business Central
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Bangalore
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to develop and maintain product code in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central technologies: AL on BC 15 or above, C/AL (good to have)
- Ability to understand requirements and providing good scalable design suiting the requirements.
- implement modules for ERP functionality built in multiple products by assessing requirements, following test driven development practices with top quality mindset.
- Liaising with developers and clients act as a point of communication.
- Must be open to travel to client locations in and outside India.
Skills required:
- Experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, Nav 2016, Business Central, AL Programming
- Strong skills on AL, CAL, Visual Studio code
- Nice to have: Technical skills in C/AL
- Development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions 2016 and Business Central
- Further Technical experience with SQL Server, BI and Reporting, Azure Devops and Azure platform services
- Integration with third party applications
- Migration NAV2016 to Business Central
- Basics process working knowledge on Business Central or Navision
Geographic Experience:
- Experience deploying Finance modules for multiple legal entities across different geographic locations, with country-specific localizations.
Industry Experience:
- FMCG, Pharma, Manufacturing (Discrete & Process), IT Service Industry, or other.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Experience with project documentation and MIS reporting (account schedule), and knowledge of Power BI.
Project Management:
- Basic project management skills with experience in consolidation of legal entities.
Pre-sales Experience:
- Experience in presales, providing demos of entire applications to prospects.
Documentation & Planning:
- Strong documentation skills, including FRD, Solution Design, and experience with cut-over planning and go-live execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation:
- Work as part of a 4-6 members implementation team on Enterprise ERP Projects.
- Implement D365 Business Central (on-premises/cloud/SaaS) tailored to client business processes.
- Client Engagement:
- Perform requirement gathering/analysis at customer locations and conduct site visits for solution requirements.
- Module Configuration:
- Configure modules like Product Information Management, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Jobs, and Service Management.
- Personalization & Security:
- Personalize role centers for all modules and configure user security roles and workflows.
- Documentation:
- Prepare necessary deliverables such as Functional Requirement Documents, Configuration Documents, Cut-over Planning, Training Documents, Go-live Reports, and Project Summary Reports.
- Project Management Support:
- Support the project management team with planning, ETA, deliverables, and status updates.
- Continuous Learning:
- Upskill with new and advanced features released by Microsoft and stay ahead of the curve.
- Presales & Demos:
- Perform demos of the application to new prospects and engage in presales activities.
- Cut-over & Go-live:
- Lead cut-over planning, obtain customer sign-offs, and prepare for go-live.
